Leadership Coaching starts by hearing and seeing you deeply —understanding the challenges and goals you bring within the context of who you are and the world you live in. This kind of listening allows us to uncover narratives which are at the core of your current stuckness —that is, beliefs about yourself, others and the world that shape how you feel and behave, which bring about results that in turn reinforce those beliefs. It also sheds light on aspects of yourself you may have forgotten or neglected which are crucial to your next wave of development.
With this deeper understanding of you and what’s at the root of what is limiting you, the coach designs a unique program for you, based on mutually agreed upon critical competencies for you to build in line with a new, more powerful narrative to step into. We then begin a path of self-awareness activities and practices to embody this new, more effective and fulfilling way of being.
How does it work?
A typical coaching engagement lasts 6 months, meeting biweekly, ideally in person for ~1.5 hours each session. Additional support in between sessions is provided via phone, Zoom or email as needed. Although our North is set from the start, the natural twists and turns of life and work, as well as the unique, unpredictable magic that emerges from a trusting coaching relationship and the deeper and more truthful relationship you will develop with yourself, will continuously inform the evolution of your program to best suit your needs.
How do I know if this is for me?
The work we do here is deep and seeks to build long-lasting competencies that will last way beyond your current goals and challenges. If you are looking for someone to just tell you what to do or for quick fixes, this is not for you.
If you are excited and willing to commit to doing deep, transformative work (and note that we meet you were you are and design practices and self-awareness activities that should feel like opening up opportunities and not like burdensome homework), the next step is to figure out if we are a good match.
